Beach Village Resort (BVR) is the newest gated resort community on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Located in Orange Beach just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, Beach Village Resort features a great range of amenities including beach access, an enormous outdoor zero-entry saltwater pool (heated seasonally), lazy river, water slide, private cabanas, and on-site management. Plus, BVR has it's own private access to the ever popular Hugh Branyon Backcountry Trail! Enjoy numerous trails within 6,000 acres of State Park featuring lakes, butterfly gardens, wetlands, towering pines and all sorts of wildlife. Walk or ride your bike to enjoy the incredible scenery that the State Park has to offer.
Beach Village Resort homes are all 2-bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, built to Gold Fortified standards and features contactless-entry via door code, wood and tile flooring, custom cabinets/shelving, solid stone countertops, 12' and 10' ceilings, and elegant crown molding on both levels.
Keep in mind, if you have a large group, and need more space, that's no problem because we have plenty of these cottages for rent all within the same resort.
This particular cottage sleeps 11. Beds in this cottage are King with a twin trundle underneath, a custom built-in queen over queen bunk, a twin over twin bunk, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The twin bunks each have their own TV's.
This cottage includes a private, comfy and furnished pool-side cabana, #24, for you to relax at the pool. It's a great way to take a break in the shade on a hot summer day, while still enjoying the pool.
CANCELLATION: If we receive cancellation 30-days or more prior to your arrival date, monies paid in will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee. Admin Fee and credit card processing fee are nonrefundable. If cancellation is received within 30-days of your arrival, you will forfeit all monies paid in except for the cleaning fee.
REFUNDS: No refunds will be given for early departures unless a mandatory hurricane evacuation has been issued by local authorities, in which case we will refund any unused portion of rent. Because we have no control over building/property repair, remodeling work possibly occurring on adjacent or nearby properties, elevator or power outages, and unexpected pool closures, no refunds will be given due to said occurrences.
TRIP INSURANCE: Unforeseen things may happen that can change your vacation plans. We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing trip insurance for that extra peace of mind. While we do not sell trip insurance, we suggest you compare at least 3 different companies and select the plan best suited for you.
MINIMUM AGE: Person signing rental agreement must be at least 25 years old, is responsible for the unit and for the actions of all occupants and visitors, and must stay in the unit as an occupant during the entire reservation.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
*After booking, you will receive our rental agreement via text message (please allow at least 30 minutes to receive the rental agreement). Your reservation is not confirmed until you complete the rental agreement.
*Every reservation includes a 3% processing fee.
*Reservation must be paid in full 30-days before your arrival day.
Parking: You are allowed to park 2 vehicles at Beach Village Resort. There is limited overflow parking. First come first served basis.

This was our first time to stay here and our expectations were high because the photos were beautiful but we were even more impressed in person. The decor was stunning but also felt so homey. The owners thought of every little detail down to soap dispensers and chip clips- all of those little details that make you feel like you're at home but still on a beautiful vacation. The pill and grounds were so relaxing and we LOVED the included private cabana with our stay. We all agreed that this will be our go-to place to stay in OB. Location and accommodations can't be beat.

This is the most beautiful unit and the owners have thought of everything you might need. You almost just have to show up! It felt like home!! Except way better! The pool cabana is INCLUDED! The water slide was soooo fun for us over 40 ladies!! The lazy River was dreamy! Oh! There is also a beach on the other side of the road but honestly you don’t even need it..lol. 100 stars!

southern sands was absolutely beautiful! it was so cozy and spacious, the decor was perfect! the back porch tv felt like a little oasis with a tv and little lagoon area to look out at while you cook on the grill! they have literally everything you need for the beach from chairs to wagons!so easy not having to bring all of that with us! a quick trip across the road and you are on the beach! restaurants and convenient stores are walking distance from southern sands.the private cabana at the poolside takes this place over the top!! you have no worries while you float around the lazy river and take a ride down the slide! Southern sands is so spacious! large rooms and bathrooms, plenty of places to sleep.the twin bunks are actual full size twins! plenty of space for adults even! From popcorn makers to pizza stones, coffee pots to martini mixers…there has been nothing left out of this home to make you feel like you are in a DREAM for your vacation!i can’t wait to go back…hopefully this time we can take a free bicycle ride down the state park right from the resort or play some of the family games they have at the cottage! thank you so much for letting us stay and we look forward to coming again!

Southern Sands is the perfect little cottage in Orange Beach. The generous owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home for your stay! From the stocked kitchen/bar cart (just need to bring your supplies) to the screened in porch, all the beach supplies you need, and private poolside cabana, this cottage was the perfect location for our son’s first trip to the beach! The beach is just a short walk away. We enjoyed our few days in Orange Beach and are already planning our trip next summer! We can’t wait to visit Southern Sands and Beach Village Resort again!

Southern Sands at Beach Village Resort was the perfect stay! The cottage is so beautiful and welcoming and stocked with SO MUCH! It was so nice to walk in and have so many things there that we didn't even think to bring! The back porch is so inviting and the perfect place to relax morning or night! The lazy river, the pool, the nature preserve are all added bonuses that are right on site! The beach is a short walk across the street or jump on the golf cart shuttle! We cannot wait to come back to Southern Sands!!!

This cottage was so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! There were even beach chairs and a wagon for us to use! The back porch was a great place to hang out and relax at night and watch tv! The community has a lazy river and pool and this cottage comes with a private cabana for the pool! Everything was top notch and we will be staying at this cottage again!
The perfect setup for visiting the beach. The house is immaculate. Beds are comfortable. Every detail you can think of. The kids loved the pool, lazy river, and water slide. The complimentary cabana was an added bonus. Beach access is a short walk across the street or catch a ride on the golf cart compliments of the villas. We even took a stroll through the State Park which is connected to the backside of the property. We will definitely be back.
